Make Your Mark: From Fine Art to Art Therapy to Animation

Creative, innovative, imaginative - this is what it means to be a Seton Hill University visual art student. No matter which art program you choose, you will enjoy access to outstanding instructors and our brand new Arts Center, offering experience in media from paint to pixels.

The Seton Hill Arts Center

Seton Hill's award-winning Arts Center is a premier arts learning space that includes:

  • Graphic design studios equipped with iMac computers.
  • A full digital fabrication lab with extrusion and resin printers, laser engravers, and a water jet machine.  
  • 3D printers that can achieve the accuracy of a stone setting, or print objects up to 1 meter tall.
  • Metalsmithing studios.Arts Center
  • A clay studio.
  • A sculpture studio.
  • Welding facilities & a foundry.
  • A photography studio.
  • A printmaking studio.
  • A drawing studio.

The Center also houses three exhibit spaces: the (outdoor) Art Yard, Harlan Gallery and Harris Gallery.

Get Your Work Seen

At Seton Hill you will exhibit your work in our professional galleries, work with local businesses and community groups on design projects, and become involved with local art galleries, professional artists and the Westmoreland Museum of American Art.

Portfolio Reviews & Art Scholarships

Undergraduate visual art majors are not required to submit a portfolio for admission. However, if you are an art major who would like to be considered for an art scholarship, a portfolio review is required.  

A portfolio review is required for admission to the Art Therapy – Specialization in Counseling M.A. Program.
