Caritas Community Service Award

An Award for Committed Service

The Caritas Community Service Award is presented to two incoming freshmen students enrolled full-time in a traditional undergraduate program who have demonstrated commitment to and involvement in community service. Each award, valued at $3,500, can be combined with other forms of Seton Hill University merit-based financial aid; however, the sum of Seton Hill merit-based aid and the Caritas Community Service Award cannot exceed the cost of tuition and mandatory fees.

Throughout their college years, Caritas Community Service Award recipients take an active role in community service. A minimum of 100 hours of community service per year, a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75, and continued full-time enrollment are required for the renewal of the award.

Applications must be submitted by March 1.
