A Concentration in the History of Medicine

Health and medicine are an integral part of every society and civilization. Concepts of the body, how it works, disease and treatments are equally important today as in the past. Cultures have shaped medical care and advances in medicine, and these developments, as well as evolving disease processes, have likewise changed the course of history.
