Use Laboratory Skills to Support Patient Care
Why Study Clinical Laboratory Science at Seton Hill University?
In Seton Hill University’s 3+1 Program, you will earn a Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from Seton Hill after your clinical year at one of our affiliated hospital schools. After completing your clinical year of study, you will be eligible to take any of several national examinations to become certified as a professional medical technologist or clinical laboratory scientist. You will spend your first 3 years at Seton Hill University:
- mastering scientific disciplines that support the practice of clinical laboratory science, including organismal, cell and microbiology; medical genetics; biochemistry; organic chemistry and human anatomy.
- enjoying studying in the liberal arts - to ensure that you have a broad knowledge base to support you in the years to come.
