African Studies (Certificate)

Broaden Your Understanding of African Languages & Cultures

This certificate program encourages you to broaden your international understanding and worldview while learning about African languages and cultures. It can be combined with study in most undergraduate majors, but is especially popular with Global Studies, International Business, Spanish, and World Cultures and Languages majors.

This 12-credit certificate is composed of 3 undergraduate courses combined with 3 credits of language study in Arabic, French, Italian, Swahili, or Spanish and/or study abroad in Africa or the Caribbean African diasporic region.

This certificate is designed to support and enhance study in an undergraduate degree program at Seton Hill.
