What is FLEX?

Flex Dollars (often just referred to as "Flex"), is money preloaded on your Seton Hill ID Card that can be spent in either of our on-campus dining facilities. It’s like a debit card for food. Each time a purchase is made, the sale amount is deducted from the account balance. You can add to your Flex account at any time by making a payment in our Student Accounts Office.  (All deposits have a $25 minimum.)

Flex can be used in multiple ways:

  • You purchased the 14 meals a week meal plan and want an additional meal. Purchase it with your Flex Dollars.
  • Your friend from home is coming up to the Hill for a visit. You can pay for their meal using your Flex Dollars.
  • Your meal plan covers your basic meal in the Griffin’s Cove, but you want an additional slice of pizza. Purchase it with your Flex Dollars.
  • You plan on meeting with your study group this weekend and you will all need a pick-me-up. You can pre-order a dozen of your favorite cookies!

Flex Dollars carry over with your meal plan from semester to semester, but are not refunded at the end of the academic year.

The Dining Services website contains additional information on meal plans, dining venues, healthy options, Seton Hill's gardens and so much more.
