Art Professor Uses Digital Technology to Craft Interactive Exhibit

New art faculty member Josias Figueirido's first exhibit at the University was also the first exhibit to feature an interactive digital component in addition to the work that was displayed on the gallery walls. Figueirido was featured in a Tribune-Review article that talked about his use of interactive digital technologies.

The immersive and interactive exhibition titled “The Garden Ladders”  was hosted in the University's Jodee Harris Gallery from September 3 through October 4, 2024 and featured a selection of airbrushed paintings on canvas, wall drawings, window decals, neon lights, and animated models through augmented reality.
