Griffins Eliminated from PSAC Tournament with 1-0 Semifinal Loss



The Griffin men's soccer team battled number two seed Bloomsburg in the semifinal round of the PSAC Tournament on Friday afternoon in Erie, PA.  The match marked the first time the Griffins have advanced past the first round of a conference tournament in school history.  The game remained scoreless for nearly 87 minutes before Bloomsburg found the back of the net off a header to take a 1-0 lead.  The Griffins were eliminated from the tournament by that same 1-0 score.  SHU falls to 12-6-2 overall.
