Griffins, Gutierrez Lead After Day One of Sally Carroll Open
Seton Hill is hosting its only tournament this season as it hosts the Sally Carroll Open at Hannastown Golf Club on Friday and Saturday. After one day of the open, the Griffins lead shooting a first day total of 317. Kutztown is just four shots behind the Griffins after shooting a first round score of 321. Griffin freshman Gabrielle Gutierrez leads the four team field after one round with a four over par 74. Kutztown's Madison Houseal is second overall with a first round of 76. Courtney Newport is third after the first round, shooting a seven over par 77. Ashley Ward is tied for fourth, shooting an 81. Emily Hassey is eighth with an 85 and Morgan Miller sits in tenth place after the first round with a score of 87.
