Christmas on the Hill officially begins with “Light Up Night,” the traditional unveiling, by the sophomore class, of the Christmas decorations in historic Lowe Dining Hall, held this year on Friday, December 8. The celebration continued Saturday evening with the Wassail reception the juniors hold to honor the seniors, Christmas Dinner (where the faculty and staff serve the students), Christmas on the Hill Mass (which features the seniors singing “Silent Night”) and the Christmas Dance.
